Matrix Academy Trust partnered with Signs Now to enhance the reception area at Barr Beacon School in Birmingham. The aim was to create a more welcoming, professional environment using bespoke branding elements that reflected the trust’s identity while bringing more depth and visual impact to the space.

Creating a better first impression indoors
Matrix Academy Trust wanted Barr Beacon School’s reception area to feel more welcoming while also clearly expressing the school’s and trust’s brand identity. The space needed signage with real visual presence rather than flat, forgettable graphics alone.
Bespoke vinyl graphics and flat-cut lettering
Signs Now designed and installed a tailored combination of custom vinyl graphics and flat-cut letters. The vinyl graphics incorporated the logo and school-specific branding, while the flat-cut letters introduced a more three-dimensional effect that added depth, vibrancy and a more sophisticated finish to the reception space.

The finished signage brought a noticeably more professional look to the reception area, while still feeling warm and welcoming. The combination of graphics and lettering gave the space real presence and helped strengthen the school’s visual identity.
